We are now accepting scores (9 or 18) for the handicap computer . If you are in the handicap system and you play - you MUST turn in your score.
We ask all members and guests to please check in at the pro shop counter before playing. Tee times can be made 14 days in advance. Tee times are not taken after 2:00 p.m. for any day. The Wednesday Morning Senior Scramble has begun. It starts every Wed. at 9:00 a.m. League Play For 2010: (Subject to change) * Workhorse league set to begin on Thursday, May 6th at 5:30 p.m. * Ladies 9 hole fun league begins on Tuesday, May 11th at 5:30 p.m. * Ladies 18 Hole Association will play on Wednesdays this year. Contact the golf course for more details. * Wednesday night men's league begins on Wednesday, May 12th at 5:30 p.m. Entry blanks now available! * Monday night ladies league and Anchor Glass league are scheduled to begin on Monday, May 17th. Details available in the golf shop. YMCA Beginners Clinic - April 26th & 28th, and May 3rd. Open to anybody ages 12 and up. Call Tom Byrum at the YMCA to sign up. Cost $40 per person. Clinic runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m. each night. Please keep in mind that weekday afternoons will be a busy time for all of us. The high school teams pay to use our facility just as you do. They are entitled to the same course privileges as everyone else. We will do our best to treat all of you in a fair & efficient manner. Range Tokens We need your help! We are currently missing 400-500 range tokens. Please help us by 1) returning all unused tokens (we will give you credit) and 2) using the tokens you purchase the same day you purchase them. Tokens are the property of WGC and we ask that they NOT be taken off our premises. You might be surprised to know that they cost us 50 cents each so replacing the 400 will cost us $200. Please let us know if you have some before we prepare to order a bunch more. Thank you for your help! Opening Day Scramble Sunday, April 25th , 9:00 am shotgun start. Entry fee $20 for WGC members & non-members pay $30. Open to anyone. Teams made by pro shop. Sign up today! WGC Match Play Tournament Open to WGC members who have a GHIN handicap (league handicaps cannot be used). Entry fee $20 per person. Handicap will be used, player with higher handicap will play off lower handicap (ex. 6 hdcp plays a 14, the 14 will be given 8 shots on the 8 hardest holes). Players will be seeded by blind draw with the random drawing held on Friday, April 30th. The person drawing the lower seed will be responsible for scheduling the match.
